Kincora is in northwest Calgary. A beautiful area with 120 acres of park and environmental reserve Kincora is bounded to the west by Sherwood across Shaganappi Trail, Sage Hill across 128 Avenue N.W. to the north, Evanston across Symons Valley Road (Highway 772) to the east, and Hidden Valley south across Stoney Trail. It is one of five communities located within the Symons Valley area.
In the City of Calgary's 2014 municipal census, Kincora had a population of 5,398 living in 1,637 dwellings, a 59% increase from its 2009 population of 3,385.
