Beltline Community Statistics
The Beltline is a region of central Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The area is located immediately to the south of Calgary's downtown (south of 9th Avenue and the Canadian Pacific Railway tracks), and is sometimes considered part of downtown. The neighbourhood is bound on the south by the popular 17th Avenue, on the west by 14th Street West and on the east by the Elbow River.
The first established district in the neighbourhood was Connaught in 1905, followed by Victoria Park in 1914. When the region and its redevelopment plan were formally established in 2003, it amalgamated the inner city neighbourhoods of Victoria Park and Connaught. Evergreen Community Statistics
Evergreen is a suburban residential neighbourhood in the south-west quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is located south of the Fish Creek Provincial Park, and south-east from the Tsuu T'ina first nation reserve.
There are two sections of Evergreen, the older and more established Evergreen Estates, and the newer Evergreen. The two sections have separate community associations and street naming patterns. All streets with "Evergreen" in their name are members of the Shawnee-Evergreen Community Association along with the neighbouring community Shawnee Slopes, while those with different names are members of the Calgary Evergreen Community Association.
A school is being built in this area. It is planned to include grades K-4, and will be completed for September, 2010.
